Tell us about your book—title and back cover blurb.
My first book is titled Stillwater; it is a supernatural faith-based fiction novel. This will be a series and I’m working on book 2.
Back Cover Blurb:
When a strange group called Divinity You gains traction in the quaint little town of Stillwater, Harriet Gordon and Pastor Cole Warren are simultaneously dragged into a demonic plot set to rip apart the community. To prevent mayhem from taking over, the Christians of Stillwater will learn there is only one way to overcome the gathering tide of evil hellbent on destroying the town: pray and have faith.
Share one thing that you found difficult or challenging about writing this book?
One of the most difficult things about writing this book was the editing process. As a first time author, I had to trust what was on the pageand not continuously over-edit every little piece of it. I had to learn how to lean into my God given abilities and trust that He had a plan to use them for His glory.
Ask the blog reader a quirky question or two?
a. Was there ever a time when you knew Holy Spirit was speaking to you, but you ignored it as a fleeting thought?
b. Do you trust that still small voice more now than you did when you first became a Christian?

Congratulations Jane! Enjoy
Reader Jane Squires emailed me to share her answer (so sorry it got erased before when she posted): Holy Spirit told me to go pray for Sheila - age 5-my Mom's cousin child. I wanted to be sure it was Holy Spirit so faster three days. When I got there Mary asked me what took so long. Holy Spirit was definitely there. I gave her message that Sheila would not die in five years but at age 50. I married and moved away and had a daughter. My brother called to tell me Sheila passed away. I asked how old she was. She was 50 for three days.
Your book sounds like a great read.
Thank you for sharing. I believe God has a plan for all of us. Sometimes we don't like it, but there's not much we can do about it either. Your Book sounds inspirational
Thank you so much for sharing. Yes, I do feel like I am more in tune with the Lord now than I was when I first became a Christian. It maybe that I have learned to listen more with my age than I did when I was younger. Yes, there have been thoughts that have gone through my mind that I have dismissed. I know the thoughts are wrong. There have been times that I have prayed that the Lord, take the thoughts away and fight the fight that I cannot. God blesss you.
