Hello, I'm Christinas Sinisi...author of Christian Contemporary Romance. I just released my fifth bookand am excited to share with you "The Story Behind the Story."
New Release: The Story Behind Another Outer Banks Christmas
I don't know about you, but I tend to fall in
love with my secondary characters--at
the very least, I fall into curiosity. What’s their story? Why did they act this way? What happens to them after this story is over?
My second published book was titled, Christmas on Ocracoke. That story was inspired by a trip to my sister’s vacation home on Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. While there, we took the ferry to Ocracoke Island, recently devastated at that time by Hurricane Dorian. I wanted to highlight their need while also offering hope.
The hero had a younger sister, and I wrote her story in a book titled, Hope of Hatteras (JUST ANNOUNCED: Hope of Hatteras will be published next year!). She suffered from anorexia but lived in fierce denial of any problem or flaw at all. Her hero was Jackson Lee, an EMT, one of the crew who came to her rescue when she passed out from hunger and suffered a minor head wound that didn’t seem minor to her loving family.
His buddy on the crew, Wade Hampton, barely appeared in that book but, tough guy though he was, he couldn’t seem to get up the courage to ask their Sunday School teacher out on a date.
So, this book is about Wade and what about his past made him shy around women. And why Kerrie Alexander, the sweet Sunday School teacher and daughter of missionaries, needed to stand on her own two feet and do her own asking.
Or maybe Wade’s grandfather decides to quit wasting time waiting for these young people to get things done and takes matters into his own hands? He offers a Christmas ultimatum that Wade can't turn down and love ensues...
