Original Recipe: Christina's Bruschetta

So, this recipe used the last two week's recipes to arrive at a delicious appetizer or side. Of course, you could also use store-bought French bread/baguettes.
Christina's Bruschetta

Ingredients:
French Bread (see last week or can buy at your local bakery)
Tomato Jam (see two weeks ago--I have not seen this in stores, but I'm sure a bacon or fig could substitute)
Smoked fresh mozzarella
Balsamic glaze (I used blood-orange infused balsamic glaze from Walmart, of all places)
Fresh basil
Directions:
Slice bread or baguette in 1-inch slices and place on cookie sheet (I learned to put parchment paper next time to help with clean-up).
Spread each slice with about a teaspoon of tomato jam, making sure surface is covered.
Top with slice of fresh smoked mozzarella (bonus idea: could also use proscutto).
Bake at 350 for about ten minutes so bottom will bake.
Broil for a few minutes, watching carefully, so cheese will melt.
Remove from oven.
Drizzle with glaze and top with a leaf of basil. Enjoy!
Blessings, Christina
