Big Apple Blessings by Laurie Larsen
Hello! I want to thank Christina for inviting me to blog to you today about my new series! I generally write heartwarming inspirational romance that takes place at the beach. But because New York City is likely my "second" favorite place in the world, I dearly wanted to set some stories there. I call the series Big Apple Blessings and it contains three stories featuring people making their dreams come true in the big city.
Book 1 was released in June and is called His Secret Daughter. Alyssa is not only a single mom raising her eight-year-old daughter Caroline all on her own, she's also scrambling up the ladder of success in the world of advertising. Her move to the Big Apple was a huge promotion and she's thrilled about the opportunity to make a name for herself. When one of her new clients, and a big shark at that, begins to shower friendship and generosity on her, she has to wonder why.
Grant is the CEO of an electronics company and decides he needs to pull his antiquated advertising campaigns up to the standard that Alyssa can provide. But he's playing a tricky game on a tightrope because if she discovers the huge secret he's hiding from her, it could blow up both their established lives, and she may never want to speak to him again. His dream of being a part of Caroline’s childhood is so close … the last thing he counts on is falling in love with the girl’s gorgeous mother.
His Secret Daughter is available in all ebook reader formats, as well as paperback. Click here to pick where to purchase it! https://books2read.com/u/4Dxkrg
Book 2 of my Big Apple Blessings series is not really a "book" at all. It's a short Christmas story that is a FREE download to ALL e-reader formats! Please get yours today to get a jump on your Christmas spirit. Here’s the download link: https://books2read.com/u/4Dxkrg
It’s called One Big Apple Christmas and it features Alyssa's best buddy and mentor at work, Tony and we also get a couple glances at what Alyssa and Grant's Happily Ever After looks like.
Christmas in New York, what could be more magical? The chill in the air, snow in Central Park, Macy's windows filled with holiday displays, and the world-famous Radio City Music Hall Rockettes performing their Christmas Spectacular.
The holidays can be stressful, especially for New York advertising exec Tony White, who just got dumped. Will his Christmas be as dismal as he expects, or will wannabe Rockette Joss McGee dance her way into his heart?
Book 3 will be released in February. I'll most likely offer it for preorder in December or early January.
So in my series featuring people making their dreams come true in the Big Apple -- we have a business tycoon. We have a Rockette. What are we missing?
A Broadway actress of course! Book 3 is called Her Secret Desire and it's a modern-day Cinderella love story.
Theater manager Monica is tired of being her family's first choice to help out at a moment's notice. They assume she has no life of her own, and they're right. She volunteers to be a Big Sister to a fatherless Hispanic girl, Luisa. She never dreams she'd fall in love with Luisa's older, brooding, gorgeous brother. Nor does she imagine that Carlos, with his violent past, is the key to achieving her dreams of moving out in front of the spotlight. But it's true.
Here's a sneak peek at the cover for Her Secret Desire! If you want a notification of when the book is available for purchase, sign up for my newsletter and you’ll be the first to know. Reader Group | authorlaurielarsen
Thanks for reading about my new series. I wish you a very healthy and very happy holiday season, both Thanksgiving and Christmas!
And please share below your opinion when we should start Christmas decorating--now or after Thanksgiving--or whenever!
Thank you, Laurie, for joining us--and I wish you a beautiful Christmas!!
Funny story...I had a student ask me this question and said his girlfriend was getting mad at him for not putting the tree up now!
Let me start the ball rolling...I'm on the side of no Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving--celebrate each holiday at a time, I say. :)
