So…somehow, I don’t have a guest for this week. Unlike holidays like Christmas and

New Year’s where I purposefully planned a blank spot…this just happened.

So…I assume God has something He wants me to share with you. First, I want to thank you for reading. I love reading your comments and sharing other authors’ work with you. Second, I pray that all of you are doing well and that you and your family members are healthy.

I hope 2023 has started off great!

Then, I looked around my writing space for inspiration. In the picture to the right, you can see my desk set-up. For years, my daughter’s piano occupied this space and I had a cubbyhole upstairs in the guest room for my desk. I am thrilled that she practiced and now plays the keyboard for enjoyment, but I am also excited and grateful to have my own room for writing. I also love the extra monitor so I can multi-task.

In this picture, you can see my view. I love the sunshine—and my writing partner, Chessie Mae. She is snoring right now. I have bookshelves behind and to the side, plus I can look out the dining room windows to the lake. All of my porch plants are inside to avoid freezing.

So, today, I am grateful.

Share below what you are grateful for today?

Behind me, in my shelves I found last week's church bulletin and these verses:

Isaiah 42: 1 – 4

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold

My chosen, in whom my soul

delights;

I have put my Spirit upon him;

He will bring forth justice to the

nations.

He will not cry aloud or lift up his

voice,

Or make it heard in the street;

A bruised reed he will not break,

And a faintly burning wick he will

Not quench;

He will faithfully bring justice.”

If you are having a difficult time, if you feel like a bruised reed or a faintly burning wick, please let us pray for you. Jesus, God’s faithful servant, will uphold you. And I will lift you to him.

Blessings, Christina

Just wanna save the lost. Perhaps you could help by giving them OUR blog: 'Dream your dreams about what YOU want to do in Heaven; dare to ask for the impossible and all the gifts YOU have ever wanted from Me. I am grateful for our friendship and that I was able to join you for church today! I’m also grateful to ve able to feather The Nest - SOUL’s home for pregnant women and for my friend who donated so, so many beautiful items. Along with faith, family, health and home, these blessings are icing on the cake!

Hi Christina. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely office space. My Mom went into the loving arms of Jesus on January 15. The visitation was on Friday and her Celebration of Life was on Saturday. There was wonderful singing of songs she requested. A friend spoke with a wonderful message of salvation. I am exhausted. I have not been able to cry yet. I think I am so grateful that she is not suffering anymore. I am picturing her with the Lord holding her and loving her. God bless you.

Hi Christina. Your office space is lovely! Mine is disorganized and the lighting is horrible, so I usually write out here on my kitchen table. Right now, it is 15 degrees and snowing. I'm looking out the window at gray skies, but hey, I love winter, so I'm happy! I am thankful today that my daughter, who lives here in town, my granddaughter, who goes to college about five hours away, and my son, who lives in the UK, will be getting together on a Skype call in a few minutes. Have a blessed Sunday!

Patti, thank you so much for sharing! I'm glad you love the snow--I've been away from it for so long, it would be magical here in South Carolina but I prefer the summer. So glad you're getting to spend time with family. Blessings to you!
