God be with you...Surprise Prize--Debra Pruss--E-Copy of One of My Books :)

Updated: Feb 5, 2023

So…somehow, I don’t have a guest for this week. Unlike holidays like Christmas and

New Year’s where I purposefully planned a blank spot…this just happened.

So…I assume God has something He wants me to share with you. First, I want to thank you for reading. I love reading your comments and sharing other authors’ work with you. Second, I pray that all of you are doing well and that you and your family members are healthy.

I hope 2023 has started off great!

Then, I looked around my writing space for inspiration. In the picture to the right, you can see my desk set-up. For years, my daughter’s piano occupied this space and I had a cubbyhole upstairs in the guest room for my desk. I am thrilled that she practiced and now plays the keyboard for enjoyment, but I am also excited and grateful to have my own room for writing. I also love the extra monitor so I can multi-task.

In this picture, you can see my view. I love the sunshine—and my writing partner, Chessie Mae. She is snoring right now. I have bookshelves behind and to the side, plus I can look out the dining room windows to the lake. All of my porch plants are inside to avoid freezing.

So, today, I am grateful.

Share below what you are grateful for today?

Behind me, in my shelves I found last week's church bulletin and these verses:

Isaiah 42: 1 – 4

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold

My chosen, in whom my soul

delights;

I have put my Spirit upon him;

He will bring forth justice to the

nations.

He will not cry aloud or lift up his

voice,

Or make it heard in the street;

A bruised reed he will not break,

And a faintly burning wick he will

Not quench;

He will faithfully bring justice.”

If you are having a difficult time, if you feel like a bruised reed or a faintly burning wick, please let us pray for you. Jesus, God’s faithful servant, will uphold you. And I will lift you to him.

Blessings, Christina
