Good morning, readers! I hope you are well. It's beautiful and sunny here in South Carolina; how is the weather where you are? July is galloping toward a close and I'm shielding my eyes against the end of summer. Ah, well, God is in every season.

Please join me in welcoming a new-to-me author who shares a fascinating new release.

Tell us about yourself?

I’m Elle E. Kay, and I write Christian romantic suspense. I live on Genesis Goat Farm, a hobby farm in North-Central Pennsylvania. When people meet me, the first thing they notice—if I’m

wearing dark colors—is the ever-present dog hair from my long-haired pups, no matter how handy my lint roller is.

Tell us about your book—title and back-cover blurb.

My latest release is Project Sentinel.

Under the all-seeing eye of Project Sentinel, the truth is a memory away, and a love she forgot is their only hope.

Faith Flanagan suffers from amnesia. Two years after the accident that shattered her world, she learns her husband was murdered, and the files he hid with her have made her a target. On the run with Elijah Knight, an operative she once loved and no longer remembers, Faith must piece together her past before rogue officials use Project Sentinel, an AI system that can predict their every move, to silence her for good.

Share one thing you found challenging about writing this book

Balancing the suspense elements and technology overreach with the emotional journey of the characters was tricky. This story was written and edited two years before publication, but I felt like something was missing, so I went through it again and added additional scenes from the villain’s perspective to bring the reader more fully behind the scenes as Elijah and Faith race to solve the puzzle she doesn’t remember creating.

Ask the reader a quirky question or two?

If you had to go on the run, what snack would you refuse to leave behind? And if you had to hide a clue for someone you love, where would you stash it?

Thank you, Elle, for being a guest!

I would have to say chocolate or cheesecake. I've got to have my sweets. The clue would be left in my console in my vehicle because my family knows I keep just about everything I need in there! Thank you for the opportunity to win. This looks like an amazing book. Blessings, Christi🙂

Thank you for the interview for me to get to know Elle E. Kay who is a new author to me. Project Sentinel sounds intriguing! My must have go-to snack is spicy pop chips, and hubby will find the clue that I would have left it in our snack cabinet - he can't miss it!

Dark chocolate is my go to snack for any occasion.

I would hide a clue/message to my husband in my dog's bag of dogfood because he would have to feed my dog.

Hands down, I must have chocolate. I'd hide a clue on the remote control for my husband. Love Elle's farm videos and the animals, especially the goats.
