Welcome to Maryann Landers, and thank you for joining us here in the Corner!
My name is Maryann Landers and I’ve lived in Alaska for over 22 years, however I’m originally from Alberta, Canada. I hope when people meet me they see I have joy.
Tell us about your book—title and back cover blurb.
My third book Alaska Chance is the newest to the Alaskan Women of Caliber Series.

Wow, this one was challenging in many aspects but mostly that the main character was from a non-Christian perspective for most of the book. The character does come to a saving knowledge of the gospel and I sensed the spiritual warfare of producing this novel.

I’D FOUND THE STABILITY OF PEACE
THEN MY FAITH WAS CHALLENGED BY THE ENMITY OF CHANGE
I met Roy at fourteen and with the toss of a coin that summer night, I dialed in the love of my life. We wasted years until we found the answer to our hearts' longing in Jesus.
On the evening of our baptism, Roy suggested our family of four venture on his dream vacation to Alaska. Although reluctant to traverse the country, I was determined to enjoy the much needed family time.
When an invitation to work at an iconic Alaskan roadhouse forced the trajectory of our summer in an unexpected direction, my tight grip on our familiar Michigan life started to slip.
Will this quest for an Alaskan adventure be worth the sacrifice for us all?
Will my new faith in Christ withstand the storms of change and awaken the transformation I didn’t know I needed or will I crumble under the leaden weight of my husband’s dreams?

Thank you for an interesting post!
My cousin and I were visiting a small town and noticed they were having a Forth of July parade, so we decided to join it. We really got the crowd going and started several USA chants. People were cheering us on for miles.
The most spontaneous thing I've ever done was join e-harmony! It was totally worth it as this is where I met my husband! He is a wonderful man who loves the Lord.
The most spontaneous thing we ever did: our family of five decided on my hubby’s first night of vacation to follow my aunt and uncle back to their home in California from our home in Oklahoma , thereby having to stay up all night packing, cleaning, emptying out the refrigerator, calling my sister to be sure she’d come and get the food that was left in the refrigerator, check our mail, and care for our dogs every day while we were gone!!
The most spontaneous thing I have ever done was to buy a trailer. I didn't expect to do that...
