Hi, all! Pamela Desmond Wright here, and I hail from the great state of Texas. Don’t know what people notice. Maybe my motorcycle, LOL!
Tell us about your book—title and back cover blurb.
The Cowboy’s Amish Haven
Her home and her heart are on the line… On the same day Gail Schroder’s faced with losing her Amish family ranch, her old crush Levi Wyse shows up on her doorstep. He doesn’t know that when he left ten years ago he'd taken Gail’s heart with him. Now Levi’s her only hope of keeping a roof over her head. But can this cowboy teach Gail the ropes in time to save her home?
Share one thing that you found difficult or challenging about writing this book.
This book was almost never finished because I had an accident right in the middle of writing it. I had to go into the hospital for emergency surgery after I shattered my spleen. Then my brother passes away a month later. I went into a depression and was thinking about abandoning it. After a few months, I went back and decided to finish the book and submit it to editors.
Ask the blog reader a quirky question or two?
Question 1: What’s your favorite way to beat stress? Mine is a long ride on my motorcycle, checking out farm roads in West Texas.
Question 2: What strange or unusual pet do you own? I have a giant white rabbit named Bunzilla. Tell me about yours in comments below.

I get rid of stress by walking or reading. I also have a bearded dragon I've had him for 5 years now.
My long-standing favorite way to beat stress is a bubble bath and a good book. I look forward to reading The Cowboy’s Amish Haven.
